FFCA Events is a free iPhone app developed by FLORIDA FIRE CHIEFS FOUNDATION INC. It aims to assist attendees of the Florida Fire Chiefs' Association's annual conferences and events in navigating the program and engaging with other participants.
Since 1958, FFCA has been serving the chief fire executives of career, combination, and volunteer departments. In 1993, the membership was expanded to include anyone involved in fire and emergency services, from the chief fire executive to the firefighter, and specialized programming was established through professional-interest sections.
The Florida Fire Chiefs' Foundation was established in 1994 to provide education programs through its Center for Fire and Emergency Services Leadership, including the Emergency Services Leadership Institute (ESLI).
With a board of directors consisting of six regional directors and a five-member executive committee, FFCA represents over 2,200 members. The association is dedicated to promoting and supporting excellence in fire and emergency services management through proactive leadership, education, and advocacy.
